After studying at Falmouth College of Art, Steve started his career in illustration before working in the design and advertising industry. His career and love of travel and adventure has taken him to many parts of the world and feeds his curiosity for new experiences and inspiration. 
 
While Steve’s work always begins with a pencil and paper, his work can manifest in many different mediums and outputs.  From simple sketches, to studied oil paintings, to hand carved wood block prints, he is always exploring new ways to capture his imagination.
 
In his studio based in Hever, surrounded by woodland, he is constantly immersed in nature and the effects of the changing seasons on the landscape and self.
