Antonia Enthoven

Antonia’s background in illustration, creating work for print and her love of drawing from life, continues to influence her work.

Print making is central to Antonia’s work. She enjoys etching and more recently during lockdown has explored reduction lino. She pulls her prints from her trusted Hunter Penrose etching press.

Inspiration comes from observing a moment in time which triggers a memory: be it an empty seat or a last plump cherry in a pretty bowl, both tell a story. Themes expressed revolve around family and mid life, exploring feelings of change through images of every day life.
