Unique acrylic painting of a hunting barn owl against the moon, on a small, wooden block. All of the edges of the block are painted as an extension of the scene. This piece was inspired by a photographic day at the Owl and Raptor centre in Groombridge. I spent an amount of time watching the flying owls hovering above the woodland floor.
