The free-motion machine embroidered hare looks back from its moongazing. The May full moon, known as the Hare Moon is silver-leafed and sits on an acrylic background. The hare is a symbol of the moon and in many cultures represents regeneration, fertility, prosperity, magic and good luck. This piece is presented in a black shadowbox.
