Drawing has always been a constant for Lucinda from an early age. She initially studied Fashion but over the years went on to work as a muralist, as well as producing figurative work, portraiture, illustration and calligraphy. 

Following a move to the countryside ten years ago she immersed herself in these new surroundings producing studies of clouds and weather, resulting in creating land and seascapes dominated by vast skies.  

In these oil paintings she seeks to convey a sense of mood and movement, hoping, as with her figure work, to evoke an emotional response from the viewer.
