WES288, Agate druze tube necklace
Agate druze, sterling silver, coated steel wire
By Camilla West
This minimalist necklace shows off a natural freeform druzy slab that's always alive with tiny sparkles. A coated steel wire is used to hold together the sterling silver tubes that make up the necklace. The druzy is from Brazil and is cut by an independent stone cutter in the UK. As it's an unpolished stone, the sides and reverse may benefit from occasional light oiling with mineral oil (wiping away the excess with a soft cloth) if they begin to look dull. The sparkling front surface won't need any oiling due to the naturally smooth sides of the tiny crystals.
